"El extraño proceso partidario que hemos vivido me colocó en la obligación de supeditar mi decisión personal a la que ustedes sostuvieron. Como conocen, consideraba conveniente un repliegue y la formación de un movimiento interno, pero ante las circunstancias que se han dado y vuestra insistencia, no tengo ofra alternativa que acatar esa decisión.
